[Atsushi takes a second to fetch his phone, puts it onto some soothing strings music, and opens Dazai's bedroom door.]

Is this music okay?

[The lights are off, except a lamp he's covered with a thin red scarf, and he's still curled up in a ball. The music is nice, though, so he slowly nods.]

It's fine. Anything too loud makes me feel worse.

Heats can be like that. [Though none of his Iris partners have ever complained about him screaming their names-] Can I sit with you?

...if you want. I feel completely disgusting, though, so I probably... smell bad... or something... Ugh.

[He shoves his face into the pillow and groans loudly with frustration. It's dramatic.]

[Carefully, he sits at the edge of Dazai's bed, making sure not to touch Dazai unless he's given permission.]

[Sighing, he peeks up at his roommate.]

[Dazai will get used to this, give him time.]

Red? No, you're blue... At least your color works on you, your normal stuff... It's because you're so pale.

[Dazai smiles faintly, even if it can't be seen, being as it's aimed at his knees.]

Some people aren't born to be flashy and cool-looking. I don't look down on you for it or anything.

We could be the red and blue oni, a matching pair. ...Sort of?

[Dazai's definitely emotional, but then, so is Atsushi sometimes...]

[Now the smile is directed more at Atsushi, as he rests his chin on a knee.]

How long is this gonna last? Is it always like this?

Iris is until the 15th, but after that there's the triple moon which lasts until the 18th. So, about a week.

[The Irises get it worst, they get no break in between...]

Some cycles are worse than others. Some cycles you might be affected very little, and sometimes the effects are really debilitating.

[This is actually the worst. He's going to be impossibly horny and desperate and that for a whole week?]
